PUSH AHF Study

Happy to share that the results of the PUSH AHF were presented today at the European Society of Cardiology Conference in Amsterdam during the Hot Line session by Dr. Jozine ter Maaten. Simultaneously, the results are now published in Nature Medicine (https://www.nature.com/articles/s41591-023-02532-z).

We are excited and happy to report that the enrollment of the PUSH AHF trial was completed today on November 17th of 2022!

We couldn’t have done this without the patients, nurses and physicians of the Cardiology department of the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG).

Results are expected in the summer – stay tuned!

We have reached a new milestone: we now have included more than 200 patients in the study! To celebrate and to thank all who contributed we have treated our colleagues with cake.

2021 was an incredible year! We have now enrolled more than 150 patients. That’s almost 50% of total inclusions in 11 months, and means we are 5 months ahead of our projected inclusion rate. If this is maintained, enrollment can be completed in 2022.

It’s still a long way to go, but early october 2021, we have included now 100 patients in PUSH-AHF. This milestone was reached within 8 months time after start of inclusion.

At the present moment we are already over the 33% mark (104 patients)!

At this pace we estimate inclusion will be completed in the summer of 2023, with primary results available end of 2023 / beginning of 2024 (6 months follow up)

With inclusions reaching a number of 77 participants, we have officially enrolled 25% of our aimed total population of 310 subjects within 6 months. Also, we are still ahead of schedule as our acutal inclusion is still above our projected inclusion for July (77 vs 54).

We had a great start of the study, resulting in now 50+ inclusions already. We are ahead of schedule, as projected inclusions for May was 34. Many thanks to all who contributed.

At the end of April, already 44 patients were enrolled, which is two months earlier than expected.

In March, enrollment in PUSH-AHF more than doubled, resulting in over 30 enrolled patients already!

In february, PUSH-AHF was of to a good start by inclusion of the first 10 patients into the trial!
